PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY

The purpose of this ministry is to provide spiritual, emotional, and relational wholeness in the lives of the Destiny family, as well as provide excellent service to our customers.


Baby Dedication Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for assisting with the coordination of the baby dedications.  

Time Commitment: As baby dedications are offered for 1 hour.

C.L.A.S.S. Requirement: 101

Baptism Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for assisting with the coordination of baptisms.

Time Commitment: As baptisms are offered for 2 hours.

C.L.A.S.S. Requirement: 101

Care Caller Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for providing follow up calls to potential new members to inform them of upcoming Destiny membership events such as C.L.A.S.S. 101, New Members Social, baptisms, etc.

Time Commitment: 2 – 4 hrs/wk

C.L.A.S.S. Requirement: 101

C.L.A.S.S. 101 Power Point Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for operating the Power Point presentation of the C.L.A.S.S. curriculum in line with the facilitator.

Time Commitment: As C.L.A.S.S. 101 is offered for 3 hours

C.L.A.S.S. Requirement: 101

C.L.A.S.S. 101 Child Care Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for nurturing and caring for the children of C.L.A.S.S. 101 participants.

Time Commitment: As C.L.A.S.S. 101 is offered for 3 hours

C.L.A.S.S. Requirement: 101

Correspondence Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for producing all communication that is to be presented to our first-time guests, new members, baby dedication participants and baptismal candidates. 

Time Commitment: 2 – 4 hrs/wk

C.L.A.S.S. Requirement: 101

First Time Guest Reception Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment for our guests during the “meet and greet” time immediately following each service.

Time Commitment: 1 – 3 hrs/wk.

C.L.A.S.S. Requirement: 101

Homegoing Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for assisting with the coordination of homegoing events.

Time Commitment: Varies.

Hospital Visitation & Bereavement Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for assisting with the coordination of visitation and bereavement events. 

Time Commitment: Varies.

New Members’ Social Team Member
Primary Role: Responsible for assisting with the coordination of the New Members’ Social. 

Time Commitment: Varies.
