Welcome to the P.E.A.C.E. Champion Tool Box! We hope you
are excited about the journey God has in store for you and your
Small Group. There are four key steps you will need to
take to begin moving your Small Group forward in the P.E.A.C.E.
Pathway. These five steps have been provided for you below:
1. Pray for Your Small Group: Prayer
is the most important ingredient to preparing your Small Group
for P.E.A.C.E. The objectives below are among the items
you should pray for to prepare your Small Group for the journey
ahead:
-
Pray that God will align the hearts of those
in your Small Group to be Kingdom focused and ready
to fulfill the Great Commandment and Great Commission.
-
Pray that God will guide you and your group through
each step in the P.E.A.C.E. Pathway, giving you
wisdom, creativity, and discernment in making decisions
and choosing the direction your group will take.
-
Pray that God prepares the hearts of those
in your community He desires you to reach, making
them receptive to the Gospel and your group as
people of God.
2.Contact Your P.E.A.C.E.
Coach: The
role of a P.E.A.C.E. Coach is to help you be successful
in doing P.E.A.C.E. Projects. He/She will be
a great asset as you move forward. If you are
unsure who your P.E.A.C.E. Coach is, please contact
your Small Group Leader or Shepherd Coach to access
your P.E.A.C.E. Coach’s contact information.
3. Connect with Your Small Group: It
will be important that you guide your Small Group every step
of the way through the P.E.A.C.E. Pathway, especially if this
is your group’s first experience. Connect with
them and let them know how excited you are to be their P.E.A.C.E.
Champion and encourage them to take the next step in the P.E.A.C.E.
Pathway which is to Design a P.E.A.C.E. Project.
4. Schedule a Design Party!: You will
learn what a Design Party is as you read through how to Design
a P.E.A.C.E. Project. Connect with your Small Group leader
and find a date that would work for your group. Also, make
sure to read through the next step of how to design a P.E.A.C.E.
Project to ensure you are prepared to encourage your Small Group
through the process.
